Welcome to the Blog of the CIRCA Berlin Projekt – a two month residency / research trip in Berlin by artists Sam Watson and Michael Gardiner.
We’re currently staying in an artist Atelier in the Prenzlauer Berg neighbor hood , located in a top floor studio and exhibition space called
Frohsinnberg Projekt
run by artists Cara McLeod, Kyla Ring and On-Yau.
We are currently finding our feet here in Berlin, walking (now riding) around the city, finding markets and making contacts at many of the citys gallery previews. Its currently coming to the end of the gallery and studio’s summer break – so there will be more and more openings and people to meet soon.
We have been taking pictures as we find our way around the city, mapping out various routes – and are planning on making a giant scale map soon, we will post our scouting pictures in the coming days.
